Little Pieces has no ads, accounts, or third-party analytics. Puzzle progress and photo puzzles stay on your device. If you contact us, we use what you share to help you.
1. Who we are
We are responsible for this website and Little Pieces for iPhone and iPad. This policy covers information handled through those services. Contact us through our contact page.
2. Little Pieces: designed to stay local
Little Pieces does not require registration. We do not collect gameplay activity, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, or a child’s name or age through the app. The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics, social features, or app-operated upload service.
- Play and preferences. Puzzle progress, completed stickers, chosen difficulty, sound and hint settings, and saved purchase entitlements are stored locally. The app does not send this information to us. Ordinary device backups may include preferences and progress, depending on your device settings.
- Photo puzzles. A grown-up can choose a picture using Apple’s system photo picker. We do not request access to your entire photo library. The app processes the selected picture on the device and saves a cropped copy without the original image’s metadata. Photo copies are excluded from device backups. Your originals stay unchanged. Photos are not sent to us, our website, or AI services, and there is no app-provided cloud sync.
- Purchases. Apple processes purchases and restores through the App Store and StoreKit. The app reads verified purchase information to unlock content and stores entitlement status on the device. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with sales, financial, or diagnostic reports according to Apple’s services and your settings; those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Built-in puzzles work offline. App downloads, purchases, and restores use Apple’s network services.
3. Children’s privacy
Little Pieces is designed for young children with a parent or guardian’s involvement. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. Purchases and photo creation are behind a grown-up gate. That gate helps separate adult actions from play; it is not a request for consent to collect a child’s information.
Our website contact form is intended for adults. Please do not send children’s names, photos, or other identifying details. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can identify and delete it. A parent may ask to review or delete information they have supplied about a child.
4. Website visits and support messages
When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, along with information you include in follow-up correspondence. We use these details to respond, troubleshoot, handle privacy requests, and maintain relevant support records. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.
The website and its infrastructure necessarily process technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps, and error information, to deliver and protect the service. Our contact endpoint uses temporary hashed request and email identifiers to limit spam. We do not store the message in a website database; it is delivered to our support mailbox.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this website. Fonts and product images are served as part of the site. Your browser or hosting infrastructure may use essential caching, language preference, or security mechanisms. Following an App Store or other external link brings you under that service’s own privacy practices.
6. Retention and deletion
App data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete individual photo puzzles in the app’s Grown-ups area. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app data; copies already held in your device backups are controlled through your device and Apple settings. Original Photos images are unaffected. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies, and deleting the app does not cancel purchases or request a refund.
We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to address your request, maintain necessary support records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Ask us to delete your correspondence at any time; we will delete information we no longer need, subject to applicable retention obligations and provider backup cycles. Temporary contact-abuse counters expire after 15 minutes and are discarded from the active store as requests are processed. Infrastructure log retention depends on the hosting provider’s security and operational settings.
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect information, including encrypted transport and restricted access to email credentials. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You can use Little Pieces without giving us any contact information, choose not to import photos, delete local photos, and contact us without using the web form. We cannot remotely access or delete app data stored only on your device.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold, or to restrict or object to its use and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. We process support information to respond to your requests, operate and secure our services based on legitimate interests, and meet legal obligations where applicable. We may request proportionate verification before fulfilling a privacy request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change, and provide additional notice when required. Material changes to the app’s data handling will be reflected in its disclosures.
