1. About these terms
These terms cover our website and services, including Little Pieces for iPhone and iPad. By using our services, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the services.
If you allow a child to use Little Pieces, you are responsible for supervising their use and approving adult actions, including purchases and photo selection. Our website contact service is intended for adults. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.
2. Using our services
You may use the website and Little Pieces for lawful personal purposes. Little Pieces provides jigsaw puzzles, optional hints and sounds, saved progress, stickers, and optional photo puzzles. It is a play experience, not a promise of any particular educational or developmental outcome.
Do not interfere with security, misuse the contact service, submit unlawful or abusive content, infringe others’ rights, or attempt unauthorized access. You may not copy, resell, distribute, or reverse engineer the app or its content except as applicable law or a separate license permits.
3. App license, purchases, and Apple
The license for the iOS/iPadOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate applicable license is supplied through the App Store. These service terms supplement that license and do not override Apple’s applicable usage rules or mandatory consumer protections.
Little Pieces includes 32 free puzzles. Additional collections, the full built-in library, and the photo puzzle maker are optional, separate one-time purchases. The full-library unlock covers the built-in catalog; it does not include the separate photo puzzle maker. There are no subscriptions in the current product. Availability and localized prices are displayed by Apple before you confirm a purchase.
Apple handles payment, receipts, and eligible refunds under its terms. Grown-ups can restore eligible purchases through the app using the Apple Account that made them. Restoring purchases restores access; it does not restore local photo files or puzzle progress. For a refund, visit Apple’s Report a Problem service. Deleting the app does not request a refund.
We are responsible for product support. Apple is not a party to these website terms. The allocation of app-related responsibilities and Apple’s rights under its standard license remain in effect.
4. Your photos and local data
You keep your rights to photos you choose for photo puzzles. You must have the right to use them and any permission needed from people pictured. Choosing a photo lets the app process and store a local copy to make your puzzle; it does not grant us a right to publish that photo or use it for marketing or AI training.
Photo copies stay in the app and are excluded from device backups. Deleting a photo puzzle or deleting the app may permanently remove those copies. Keep your originals in Photos or another place you control. Local progress, stickers, and settings are not synchronized through a cloud service we operate.
5. Our work and your messages
We and our licensors retain applicable rights in the app, website, original illustrations, sounds, design, names, and other content. Your right to play and use our services does not transfer ownership of that material. Third-party software remains subject to its own licenses.
If you send us feedback or a support request, you allow us to use it to respond and improve our products, subject to our privacy policy. Please do not send confidential third-party information or children’s personal details.
6. Availability and changes
We may update the app or website to fix problems, improve functionality, or meet legal and platform requirements. Features and device compatibility may change. We do not promise uninterrupted service or ongoing compatibility with every device or future operating system. We will respect rights associated with paid content and provide notices or remedies where required by law.
Bundled puzzles can be played offline. Downloading the app, purchasing or restoring unlocks, and contacting support need a connection. You may stop using the services at any time. We may restrict access to the website contact service when reasonably necessary to address abuse or protect its operation.
7. Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties that they will always be error-free or meet every expectation. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the services.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other matters protected by applicable law. These terms do not remove statutory guarantees, refund rights, or other mandatory consumer rights. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
8. Updates and contact
We may revise these terms and will update the effective date on this page. Material changes will receive any notice required by law. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights you already have in completed purchases.
For questions, support, or concerns, use our contact page. Please contact us first if something is wrong so we have a chance to help; doing so does not restrict your right to seek other available remedies.
